How’s your New Year Long-term Goals?
Short-term and Long-term Goals.
According to Charles C. Noble, we must have long-term goals to keep us away from being frustrated by short-range failure. But first, we need to define our own short-term and long-term goals. My short ones are monthly, and quarterly.
For the purpose of this post, my defined long-term goal is one year.
Well, I had a long-term goal. It was broken in the middle. The second half kept breaking into chunks of short-range failures. I let go the goal, had to. Okay, not completely true. I’m fibbing a little bit… It’s because too many major changes happened from unforeseen circumstances. This goes without saying that our goals and plans can change due to our circumstances.
If and when we decide to create brand new long-term goals for whatever justified reasons, we plan it properly, learn from the past, re-group. Follow through.
Keep well, and a more prosperous new year.
