Quotes and Sayings on Positive Attitude

Positive Attitude Quotes and Sayings.

Changing a negative attitude is not easy especially when we are disappointed and hurt. What makes life difficult?
What good is life without any sense of meaning? It is absurd. Empty. And even if that sense of meaning is present, if it is somehow violated or it collapses from some external interference, it is very difficult to remain creative.
What is left? First, we need that faith to hold on to, faith in a higher power who will give us the strength and perseverance to hang on. Slowly, the turbulence subsides. And slowly too, our creativity picks up once again.
Meantime, we’ll just have to accept occasional moments when we look back over those past happy moments, the good ole days. Why not.

Some positive attitudes to live by:

  • “Real freedom is positive . It is not mere freedom from something – from interference or restraint or fear. It is freedom for something – freedom to be and to do what we judge to be best.” ~ Luther A. Weigle, Christian Educator of 20th century.
  • “Nothing contributes more to cheerfulness than the habit of looking at the good side of things.” ~ William Ullathorne, English Bishop.
  • “That which is past and gone is irrevocable; wise men have enough to do with things present and to come.” ~ Francis Bacon, English Philosopher, Scientist, Lawyer, Author.
  • “When anyone has offended me, I try to raise my soul so high that the offense cannot reach it.” ~ Rene Descartes, French Philosopher.

Tomorrow’s another day. Today is the present, another gift.
