Perspective, a way round

January 19, 2007

Even as a child, I have always been fascinated with puzzles - jig-saw, crosswords, TRIVIA, and most recently have added Sudoku in my repertoire. A terrific deviation from stress or work overload, diversion and cooling effect when life gets murky.

I remember whilst a kid. Jig-saw puzzles. Two or three more pieces left. The angst of not being able to complete the perfect fit… Occasional annoyance.  The challenge to persist.  Patience.  Persistence.  Eventually, completion of the whole puzzle. The excitement. The excitement of re-arrangement here and there, and voila, a complete pircture.

As adults, a lot of of our challenges seem hard to fit together in the big picture, but if we look at them in the positive way round, and in the correct order, it’s most likely, we work out the complete pattern.

Random thought before midnight…
